I am trying to connect an advanced navigation spatial dual imu/gps to the Livox mid-40.

Attached is the diagram of my IMU wiring. Main concern is the Sync -, not sure what this should be connected to.

Here's what i think should be the connections:

Lidar to Livox Mid-40:

1 (Ground) - connects to pin 5 on GPIO
2 (sync +) - connects to pin 2 on GPIO
3 (sync -) ?

Can anyone confirm if this is correct and also what the sync- connection should connect to?

Thanks

Our synchronous signal interface supports RS485 signal, your IMU interface does not support this signal. You need to convert RS485 signal to TTL signal and try to connect with GPIO interface. You'd better consult whether the IMU manufacturer's GPIO supports TTL signals.

Will this one work? It has RS485 connectivity,9 axis and it is only a few 100s. If it does is it only a matter of making a cable for it to connect it to a sync port of Mid lidars and powering it.

There is even one for less than $25. I know it is too cheap but may be worth to try comparing to $2000-15000 ones
