Hi all,

I've installed a Raspberry Pi with all the necassary software to use a livox-LOAM and it works just as it should.
The only problem I have is that with the standard mapping package "https://github.com/Livox-SDK/livox_mapping" it's quite
easy to automatically save the output in a specific location. I haven't found out how to do this with the livox-LOAM package though
so some help would be much appreciated!

Kind regards,

Sorry, the code to save the data needs to be written by you.

Sorry, the code to save the data needs to be written by you.

With the previous mapping package (as mentioned in my first message) you could either use it directly to create a LVX file or specify a output path for the PCD file and store the output that way. So if I understand correctly, neither of those options are available for the LOAM package?

Any idea where to start when I want to write the code myself? Some examples for instance?

loam-livox does not have the function of saving maps. If you want to see examples, we have many examples on GitHub, livox_mapping, and some slam algorithms.
