Hello!

The AVIA sensor's specification includes a field called "noise," with a value of 40cm omnidirectional.

Could someone please explain what the term "omnidirectional" means in this context?

I searched it on the internet, but the results focused on sound-related topics, and I couldn't find a solid definition of the term.

Thank you for your assistance!

sincerely!

Sadeghi

"Omnidirectional @40cm" means all directions with a radius of 40cm in 3D space.
That is, the sound pressure levels measured at these locations ≤40dB.
