Hello,
We currently use the Livox Avia a lot in big and small projects within our company.
To guard or control a certain process, we often need a scanner with a equal FOV horizontally & vertically. Like the Mid70 and the Avia (~70°) However, some news got to us telling the Livox Avia will not be produced anymore and that you should fallback to the Mid70 or use the new HAP. This would be bad news, as the Mid70 is too slow and the HAP is more designed for other type of applications. The 25° vertical FOV is much to limited. We could of course mount 2 or 3 HAPs on top of eachother but it would be more costly and especially more complex setup. So is it true that the Livox Avia is end of life? It’s a relatively new scanner. Could you share why? it seems like a very popular and successful product but we could be wrong off course. Will there be some kind of HAP70+ in the future, which will use the HAP tech but rotate the lasers like the AVIA so you again get the circular FOV Best regards
